Local Lodge members stick together and ratify new contract

After some very difficult bargaining, the approximately 150 members of Local Lodge 2707 employed by Kromet International Inc. in Cambridge ratified a new three-year agreement. The solidarity shown by the members in support of their negotiation committee was tremendous. The three-year agreement provides for wage, pension, benefits, and vacation increases.

Grand Lodge Representative Derek Ferguson would like to thank the Negotiation Committee: Sherry Cole, Laurie Sears, John Murphy, and Bev Young for the job they did on behalf of their members.

The members stuck together and supported their negotiation committee throughout this process. Their actions made the difference.

The 150 members manufacture high-end appliance handles, decorative aluminum and stainless-steel trim for appliances, microwave trim kits, kitchen vents, automotive step rails and roof racks, urban transit hardware and luggage racks and lighting components and assemblies.
