International Workers Day pushes for better access to Pearson!

Mississauga, ON – Better access to Pearson International Airport through public transportation was the theme of this year’s International Workers Day and Festival at the nation’s largest airport. The Toronto Airport Workers Council, including members of the IAM, circulated a petition to Metrolinx, asking the public transportation organization to discount transit fares for airport workers, stressing the need for reliable 24/7 public transportation, to and from Toronto’s single largest employer.
