Workers Arts & Heritage Centre – Working Women Project

This project will generate increased awareness of and discussion about the historical and contemporary experiences of Canada’s working women, particularly amongst women, seniors and youth. Through their involvement in the conceptualization and creation of the project (as the subject of oral histories or by participating in the project advisory committee), by seeing their stories and images, and those of their mothers and grandmothers, reflected in an exhibition, Canada’s working women will feel that they are being validated and their voices heard.
