“We also removed all references in the agreement to the ‘Tuesday to Saturday’ work week,” explained IAM District 250 Business Representative Dale Gentile. “The company had the option of either a Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday work week. Our members felt very strongly about having Saturday and Sunday weekends off and now they have it.”

The 25 members at the Prince George facility, one of 63 Timken plants worldwide, manufacture housed bearings for use in aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment, power generation, heavy industry, and machine tool and rail sectors.
