The Quebec Election – changing four quarters for a dollar!

Montréal, QC – “Making an informed decision in this election will be difficult for our members,” explained IAM Quèbec Coordinator David Chartrand. “There is little to choose between the front runners.” He believes that significant failures in education, health and social services have tainted the incumbent Liberal government (PLQ) under Premier Phillippe Couillard. However the threats to workers presented by the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) under Francois Legault, leave IAM members no choice, as Chartrand aptly points out, “you’re changing four quarters for a dollar.” So who do you support, if the aforementioned parties leave a sour taste in the mouths of IAM members, Quèbec Solidaire party (QS), the Québec Party (PQ) or the Green Party of Quèbec (PVQ) may not tickle the voting pallet either! Chartrand believes,  “unless a party who represents our values closing in on Election Day has a shot at governing, we may have to bet on candidates who reflect us rather than a party.”
