Lachine, QC – Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 1660 have a new collective agreement with Metso de St Laurent Paper Ltée.
The four-year agreement provides wage increases totalling 11 per cent. Other agreement highlights include:
- Increased benefits when laid off
- Increased teams premiums
- Improved vacations
The eleven members maintain and repair paper manufacturing machinery.
IAMAW, among the largest industrial trade unions in North America, represents more than 700,000 active and retired members, and administers more than 5,000 contracts in transportation, woodworking, aerospace, manufacturing and defense related industries.
