Cornwall, ON – Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 412 have ratified a new four-year collective agreement with Bolger Steel Fabrication Ltd.
The new agreement provides for wage increases of 4 per cent in the first year, 3 per cent in the second and third years and 2 per cent in the fourth year. The average wage rate is now $21.84/hour.
Other agreement highlights include:
- Employer Pension contribution increased to 50 cents/hour of regular weekly hours worked increasing to 75 cents/hour in April 2011.
- Family Day added to paid statutory holidays.
- Employees with 30 years or more of service now receive six weeks paid vacation.
The 11 members of IAMAW Local Lodge 412 manufacture high pressure tanks and vessels for industrial use.
