Machinists sign with Moduline

Penticton, BC – Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 2711 have ratified a new three-year collective agreement with Moduline Modular Homes.

The new agreement provides for wage increases of 4.5 per cent in the first year and 4 per cent in the second year and third years respectively. Other agreement highlights include:

  • Leadhand Premium increase from $1.15/hour to $1.30/hour
  • First Aid Premium increase from $1.05/hour to $1.25/hour
  • Floater Premium increase from $1.00/hour to $1.30/hour
  • RRSP contributions for all employees increased by 1 per cent after 2 years of service
  • Orthodontic coverage increased from $2500 to $3500
  • Boot Allowance increased from $150 to $175
  • Eye Glass coverage increased from $200 to $300
  • Clothing Allowance increased from $50 to $75
  • Employer will provide Prescription Cards

The 180 members manufacture modular homes for the Canadian home building industry.
