Mississauga, ON – Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 235 have a new collective agreement with Professional Hair Care Products.
The new two-year agreement provides wage increases of 3 per cent in the first year and 3.5 per cent in the second year. Other agreement highlights include:
- Quality Control Inspectors premium of 15 cents /hour
- Company to pay dispensing fees for prescription drugs
- One additional day for bereavement leave
The sixty members manufacture professional hair care products for hair styling and beauty salons across Canada. IAMAW, among the largest industrial trade unions in North America, represents more than 700,000 active and retired members, and administers more than 5,000 contracts in transportation, woodworking, aerospace, manufacturing and defense related industries.
