Machinists ratify FCI agreement

Toronto, ON – The members of IAMAW Local Lodge 901 have ratified a new three-year collective agreement with FCI Canada Incorporated of Scarborough.

The agreement provides across the board wage increases of 3 per cent in each year. Other agreement highlights include:

• Classification rate increase for levels 5 & 7
• Increased Boot Allowance
• Increase in Rx Glasses
• Updated ODA schedule for dental care
• Modified vacation language to better protect the members

The 14 members manufacture electrical connectors for the domestic construction industry. The IAMAW represents more than 700,000 active and retired members in North America and administers more than 5,000 contracts in transportation, woodworking, aerospace, manufacturing and defense-related industries.
