Lachine, QC Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 1660 have ratified a new agreement with Dominion Samples Ltée.
The five-year collective agreement provides wage increases of 4 per cent in the first year, 3.5 per cent in year two and 3 per cent in each of the remaining three years. Other contract highlights include:
- 10 members will progress to a higher classification
- 3rd shift workers will receive a $ .75/hour premium
- Establishment of a new working relations committee to settle complaints and harassment issues
- Five weeks vacation for members having 21 years or more seniority
The 80 members of IAMAW Local Lodge 1660 manufacture carpet, drapery and wallpaper samples for the Canadian home improvement market.
