Machinists sign new deal with CPC Pumps

Mississauga, ON – Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 235 have a new collective agreement with CPC Pumps International of Mississauga, Ontario.

The new three-year agreement provides wage increases of 2.5 per cent in each of the first two years and 1 per cent in the third year. Other agreement highlights include:

  • Safety Glasses allowance of $200 every two years
  • Improved Group Insurance benefits
  • Pension increase of .5 per cent

The 36 members build industrial pumps for the manufacturing industry in Canada.

IAMAW, among the largest industrial trade unions in North America, represents more than 700,000 active and retired members, and administers more than 5,000 contracts in transportation, woodworking, aerospace, manufacturing and defense related industries.
