Machinists ink new deal with Revco!

Toronto, ON – The members of IAMAW Local Lodge 235 have signed a new two-year collective agreement with Revco Worldwide Incorporated.

The new agreement provides wage increases of 1.5 per cent in the first year and 2.5 per cent in the second year. Other contract highlights include:

  • IAM Pension Plan increase of 5 cents/hour in each year of the agreement
  • Pension language improvements
  • Contract language improvements
  • Cost of eye examinations now fully paid by employer

The 14 members are employed as set-up operators and machinists for the sprocket manufacturer located in the east end of Toronto.

IAMAW, among the largest industrial trade unions in North America, represents more than 700,000 active and retired members, and administers more than 5,000 contracts in transportation, woodworking, aerospace, manufacturing and defense related industries.
