Machinists sign new deal with AutoLiv Canada

Markham, ON – Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 2113 have a new collective agreement with Autoliv Canada Inc.

The three-year agreement provides wage increases of 2.75 per cent in each of the first two years and three per cent in the third year. Other agreement highlights include:

  • Defined benefit pension plan multiplier increased by one dollar per year in each year of the agreement
  • Improved vacation allowances
  • Improved orthodontics benefits
  • Improved orthotics benefits
  • Improved contract language

The 262 members manufacture airbag module safety restraints for the automotive industry.

The IAMAW, among the largest industrial trade unions in North America, represents more than 700,000 active and retired members, and administers more than 5,000 contracts in transportation, woodworking, aerospace, manufacturing and defense related industries.
