| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Acme Lock in Toronto is now Union. On January 17, 2003 a brand new collective agreement was ratified with the employees of Acme Lock & Access Control and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 235. After a month of negotiations with John Rowland, the Certified Master Locksmith and Owner of Acme Lock an excellent wage increase and other benefits were secured for the locksmiths working there. Pay of $25.98 per hour was achieved along with paid sick days, paid bereavement leave, paid jury duty, two paid 15 minute rest periods per day, overtime pay of time and a half over 40 hours, pension plan contributions and up to 5 weeks paid vacation.
