General Meeting of Bombardier Aerospace Workers |

Montreal, May 2, 2002 — The 7,500 workers at Bombardier Aerospace, members of Local Lodge 712 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW–FTQ), are hereby convened to attend a general meeting to be held on Friday, May 3 at 9:30 a.m. at the Claude-Robillard Centre located at 1000 Émile-Journault in Montreal. Workers will be called upon to comment the report issued by Pierre Gervais, the mediator recently appointed by Labour Minister Jean Rochon. Union officers will take questions from the media at the end of the meeting. The FTQ is the largest labour body in Quebec and represents over half a million members. -30- Source: FTQ |
