News Flash

March 8, 2002

March 8, 2002 – Canadian General Vice-President Dave Ritchie today appointed Grand Lodge Representative Gilles Brosseau to the position of Quebec Coordinator for the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW). He replaces retired GLR Robert Guay effectively immediately.

Ritchie went on to thank Robert Guay for his many years of dedication and service to the membership and, indeed, the International. Guay worked on numerous projects including High Performance Workplace Organization (HPWO) and the Blue Ribbon Commission. His work was both national and international.

Brosseau will report directly to Canadian GVP Ritchie. His primary responsibilities will be to coordinate the activities of the IAMAW membership in the province of Quebec. “With Gilles’ dedication and commitment, I know the membership will be well-served,” said Ritchie.
