In accordance with Article III, Section 5 of the IAM Constitution, please be advised that Machinists Union members have completed the nomination process for the election of Grand Lodge Officers and elected officials for a new four-year term.
The required number of IAM Local Lodges nominated each of the following candidates: Robert Martinez, Jr., as International President; Dora Cervantes as General Secretary-Treasurer; Stan Pickthall received a sufficient number of nominations to be a candidate for the Canadian General Vice President position, and Tania L. Canniff received a sufficient number of nominations to be a candidate for the Canadian Labour Council.
Philip J. Gruber, Gary R. Allen, Sito Pantoja, Mark A. Blondin, James Conigliaro, Rickey Wallace and Brian Bryant as U.S. General Vice Presidents; Phil Zanella, Jr., James Beno, Walter Gerlach, Mark Conner and Ian L. Anderman as members of the Committee on Law; and Gilbert Simmons, Susan Palmer and Juan Negron as delegates to the AFL- CIO. No other candidates received sufficient nominations to be on an election ballot.
