Toronto, ON – A new contract awarded to Airport Operational Support Services at Toronto’s Pearson Airport, means job security for 170 members of IAM Local Lodge 2323.
“Contract renewal for employers always makes workers a bit nervous so this is great news for our members knowing that they will have job security for the next three years,” explained IAM District Lodge General Chairperson Lou Pagrach. The members direct passengers at customs and security checkpoints within the airport.
The IAM is the largest union at Pearson airport representing workers at Air Canada, AOSS, Consolidated Aviation, Field Aviation, Air Transat, Landmark 2, Skycharter, Servisair, Smartcart and TBH.
