Montréal, QC – Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 2235 have unanimously ratified a new three-year collective agreement with Groupe Compass (Québec) Ltée.
“In spite of the difficult economic times and the serious concessions demanded by the employer including the elimination of mobile holidays and reduced sick leave and vacation, our membership held firm, “ said IAMAW District 11 Business Representative Claude Boisvert. “With the full support of the membership, the bargaining committee stood its ground and the result was a good agreement.”
The three-year agreement provides for wage increases of 1.5 per cent in the first year and 2 per cent in the second and third year respectively.
The 60 members install and service vending machines in the greater Montréal area.
