Machinists Ink New Deal with Bombardier!

Moose Jaw, Sk – Members of IAM Local Lodge 32 employed by Bombardier at the military aviation training facilities have ratified a new collective agreement.

 

The four-year agreement provides wages increases of 2.25 per cent in the first year, a $1500.00 lump sum payment in the second year, a 2.75 per cent wage increase in the third year and a 2.5 per cent wage increase in the fourth year. The agreement also includes overtime improvements paid at double time.

 

“This was an extensive and trying bargaining process and I commend the bargaining committee for its professionalism and diligence throughout,” said IAM District Lodge 140 General Chairperson Tony Didoshak.

 

The 32 members maintain and repair the aircraft used in the NATO Aviation Training Programs conducted at Moose Jaw and Cold Lake Alberta.
